Works of art in stairways – the inspiration for the works of art in the stairways at Arabianranta comes from an analysis of the character of the area. As you move away from Hämeentie towards the sea, the atmosphere changes from the public and the large-scale to the private and the detailed. The area's history, happenings, nature and subjective mental images have inspired themes that link the building to Arabianranta by means of art. The technique used for implementing the work link the art to the architecture as a fixed part of it.
