The Sun Sauna fi rewall and
sauna stove designed by Samuli Naamanka and produced by the Graphic
Concrete technique restore the earthy component to the sauna: the
elements of air, fi re and water are all present in the colours and the
choices of materials. once took place outside should now be brought
indoors. Thus the home spa as conceived by the interior designer Simo
HeikkilŠ comprises the three traditional rooms, for bathing,
washing and cooling off, so that you pass from the cooling-off area
into the sauna proper via the washing room. The ancient requirement
that the sauna should be 100% hygienic is acknowledge by allowing for
the benches to be lifted up, making them easy to move out of the way
and wash.
