The Arba group has developed this theme with its project
known as ”Laiturit” (Piers) for the shore park. ”The changing coast-line brings memories and recollections of old piers and jetties to their original locations. The piers express the atmosphere of the old shore: arrivals and departures. These new places provide a background for various activities such as lounging, meetings, games, enjoying the sun etc.” The shape, dimensions and material of the jetties link the locations
to each other to make an integrated work of art out of them
