Art in dwellings
Five concrete walls in the entrances will be patterned with the ”graphic concrete” technique developed by Samuli Naamanka. The new technique makes it possible to create texts, historic maps and images with contrasts of glossy and rough surfaces. Päivi Kiuru comments on the art project as follows: ”... the themes of designs and colours are old industry, flora, water and the sky. The mood changes when moving from Hämeentie road towards the sea, from the public and detailed to things more private and in broader outline...
